Our Story

Cellar Next Door is owned and run by three old friends and long-time South East London residents Ben, Luke and Helen. Our original wine bar – Peckham Cellars – started in November 2019. Little did we know a global pandemic was just around the corner. Terrible timing as this was, once the initial shock wore off, we collected ourselves and started Peckham Cellars Online, or what was to become Cellar Next Door. 

We quickly learnt to be web developers, online wine merchants and couriers and set about delivering wine to the thirsty people of South East London. A few years and various self-storage units and warehouses later we finally found ourselves a home in Camberwell with a lovely little wine shop and adjoining wine bar to boot.
