Without a doubt one of our favourite discoveries last year was this remarkable wine from Georgia.

Incredibly low yields and meticulous attention to detail produce a wine that brings to mind dried apricots, marzipan and exotic spices. Its pure golden nectar, truly beguiling stuff.

The grape variety Kisi is aged in Quevri (large clay pots) with its skins for six months to bring about the rich golden hue.
