Perfect Mencia from Envinate, wizards with this grape variety. It's vibrant and slatey, with cherry and peppercorn aromatics.

We love this wine so much that we buy a big chunk most years - and now, here for you, is this beautiful wine with a lovely bit of bottle age. Same vibrant fruits - now with added complexity. One doesn't often see these wines with age so its a great opportunity to try something new at mega value - we're selling it in old money so it's cheaper than the current release! Aren't we nice!

2019 was a perfect vintage in Ribeira Sacra, with balanced and healthy vintage - and the wines are really over-performing.
