2018 was arguably the year that put English wine on the map. Young vineyards were starting to mature, and producers were starting to hit their stride. Then, the glorious summer of 2018 produced exceptional fruit that allowed winemakers to show what they were capable of. 2018 Blanc de Noirs from Gusbourne is a landmark wine and a significant chapter in the early history of English wine. Drinking perfectly now but with all the ingredients to improve over a decade or more.
