The Merkelbach Estate is owned and run by brothers - Alfred and Rolf - now in their 80's. On their 1.9 hectares they grow only Riesling producing roughly 20,000 bottles a year. Their family have been present on the estate since 1867 when their Great Grandfather bought a house there.

    Excellent service and excellent wines.
