Piedrosso is a native grape to Campania, and is usually blended into regional wines but a handful of producers are making single varietal blends of this unique variety. All the farming here is certified organic and just around 2000 bottles of this wine are made each year, a rare find indeed.

The wine is sumptuous and silky, with a lovely hit of cherry, then there are herbal aromatics like oregano and pink peppercorns, some fine tannins and crunchy red fruits like cranberry on the finish.

A perfect partner to mushroom pasta, or Cacio e pepe.
