Finca Meixeman, Guimaro, Guimaro

Guimaro is one of Galicia's star producers, and along with Raul Perez has been responsible for propelling the region into the limelight with their wonderful, unique, terroir-driven wines.

Grown from the Mencia variety, here we see the darker side of the grape which can sometimes be very floral and fruit-driven. There's top notes of cherry, silky tannin, lots of complexity, and an earthy mineral-driven core.
