A terrific year in the Northern Rhone, and this vintage of Hermitage is a little more powerful than usual, but as always with this wine, it’s not a Hermitage in the classic mold, it’s juicy and approachable young - a wine to drink with friends and enjoy the pure fruited joy.
Arguably the most ionic duo in the world of natural wine, Dard & Ribo produce some of our all time favourite red wines from Syrah in the Northern Rhone. And the whites aren’t bad either!
They farm multiple parcels over many sites, with their oldest vines being 120 years old in Hermitage. The pair bottle a wide range of cuvees which change depending on the merits of the vintage, with some of the single vineyards plots rarely making an appearance.
