 A stunning, elegant, red from the Galician stable of Telmo Rodriguez.

LG Valbuxan is a blend of 60% Mencia, with the balance a field blend of local varieties - Brancellao, Vinhão, Merenzao and Garnacha Tintorera. Its a perfect expression of this cool region of Spain - think bright red cherries, fresh thyme, with wonderful balance - a perfect blend of complexity and vibrant fresh fruit.

Telmo Rodriguez is a household name in the Spanish wine scene, but in 1994 when he started his company, he was very much a revolutionary. A key part of the "new-wave" Spanish wine movement, he seeks out unique, forgotten vineyards, focussing efforts on single-site wines that are expressive of their origins.
