Bertrand Bachelet took over from his father in 2010 and has since set-about implementing a quality revolution at this winery. Maranges is a little-known village in Burgundy, but it is in these parts where great wines are still to be found as the great and good in more fashionable villages raise their prices further every year. From the fabulous 2016 vintage, this is a superb example of the beautiful wines this village, and Bertrand, are capable of - a classic red burgundy.

    Excellent service and excellent wines.
