This is the essence of Gamay – bright red fruits, floral notes, pure, super-fresh and brimming with energy. A wine to lift the senses, lift the spirit. As always with Gamay, give this a little chill in the fridge before serving - not cold, but twenty minutes in the fridge will have it singing.

Peter Gierszewski produces this Gamay in the Mâcon-Bray region of Burgundy, France. The vineyards benefit from a unique location in a secluded corner of Southern Burgundy. Organic and biodynamic viticulture practices are employed in this tiny vineyard where the 65-year-old vines thrive in soils consisting of marl, limestone, and granite. The grapes undergo a gentle semi-carbonic maceration, and the wine ages undisturbed in neutral 500L barrels.

  • Great service and excellent wines

Excellent service and excellent wines. I wanted a selection of six wines and asked Peckham Cellars to make the choice for me based on a price range. The wines were all superb and unique in that they were from small suppliers that I personally would have no knowledge of. If you want something different at your next dinner / party then I can't recommend these guys enough.

  • Super-speedy delivery

Super-speedy delivery! My wines arrived safe and sound in fully recyclable packaging. A real bonus. Website has such a great selection it was hard to choose.

  • I placed my order online from…Melbourne

I placed my order online from Melbourne Australia and the delivery of my birthday gift to a friend in London happened smoothly, quickly and well presented. Big thanks to the team at Peckham Cellars

  • Nice wine. Easy and efficient

Great for sending to friends as gifts/congratulations. You can include a message with the wine, so ideal really. Fun range of interesting wines.
