Situated just outside Verona, in the Morainic Hills near Lake Garda, Vini Sassara is a new project from natural winemakers Alessia and Stefano Bertaiola. The DOC here is Bardolino, and the area is most famous for Valpolicella-style light reds and rosés.

This isn't the focus for Alessia and Stefano who want to show what indigenous grapes plus the Bardonlino terroir can do when allowed to express themselves naturally. 

This white is super dry but gentle, bright and minerally with a core of citrus fruit on stone.
