Morgon 'Cote du Py', Jean Foillard, 2021
Morgon 'Cote du Py', Jean Foillard, 2021, Jean Foillard
Not really wine, more like an essential experience! Thats our view on this wine at Cellars. It manages to dance across your tongue with a weightless elegance while also carrying incredible concentration and depth: Simply mesmerising.
Cote du Py, is a volcanic hillside planted with ancient Gamay vines in Morgon, Beaujolais. The wines are made with minimal intervention in the winery, all the meticulous work is done in the vineyard.
After a sting of warm vintages, 2021 marks a return to a more classic Cote du Py, more on the elegance and freshness.
