Sumptuous, soft, silky - this is wonderful wine from the cousin of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier. Think of Pinot Meunier as a slightly more herbal take on Pinot Noir. This is very light-bodied, but has wonderful silky quality to the palate, and very pretty fruit.

J Brix are a new-ish project from a lovely husband and wife team. They buy grapes from select vineyards in California and make an array of wines each year. They are quickly winning the heart and minds of journalists and sommeliers on the west coast, and the wines are brand new to the UK. Future classics in the making.
