This one of our favourite whites from South Africa. It really focusses on the grapefruit and mineral side of sauvignon its elegant, finessed and ultimately incredibly drinkable. Great value here - it drinks like a Sancerre at double the price.

Duncan Savage makes stunning wines in and around the coastal regions of Capetown. He focusses on vineyards with Granite soils, and maritime influence, meaning the wines always have a purity and finesse that is such a hallmark of his wines.

The fruit here is sourced from a 35 year old vineyard in Stellenbosch and aged in a mixture of concrete eggs, stainless steel and barrels which gives the palate an interesting breadth, not normally apparent in Sauvignon Blanc.
