Saperavi is the leading red grape in Georgia, and we think it's a pretty good option if you usually opt for a malbec. There's depth to this wine with plummy fruit and some nice earthiness. Perfect with grilled meat and BBQ.

Georgia is the home of winemaking. There's evidence of the vine being cultivated in Georgia dating to 5000BC, so although the region is new to us in the UK, in winemaking terms they've been around a while!
