Dimitrios was formerly a chemical engineer (so he knows his way round a fermentation!), before leaving the corporate life behind and moving the whole family to the countryside to start a vineyard. The project was established in 2010 and the wines are really starting to come in to their own.
Malagousia is an aromatic grape variety and one which can sometimes be a little too much – but here Dimitrios has judged it perfectly. There are wonderful scents of white flowers, showing the delicate aromatic patina of the Malagousia – but the core of the wine is freshness, with lots of pithy lemon, mineral character and salinity.
