BLANKBOTTLE is, quite frankly, an insane project from Pieter Walser. He is a true maverick making an incredible array of wines from all over South Africa. Each year he produces a vast range of incredible wines, each bursting with personality and with their own story to tell. To give you an idea of the scale of Pieters task - last vintage he harvested 35 different grape varieties, from over 80 different vineyards and bottled over 40 different wines. On a practical level this means harvest will last up to three months as he is working with parcels that are ripening at different times across the country.

    Excellent service and excellent wines. I wanted a selection of six wines and asked Peckham Cellars to make the choice for me based on a price range. The wines were all superb and unique in that they were from small suppliers that I personally would have no knowledge of. If you want something different at your next dinner / party then I can't recommend these guys enough.
