Vispavola is a rare variety native to Piedmont which gives rich, spicy wines with depth and complexity. 

High up in alto-piedmont, in impossibly beautiful surroundings, Cristiano and Giacomo are making some of the regions most beautiful wines. Their main wines are usually based on Nebbiolo, but here we have a bottling of Vispavola, an incredibly rare variety native to this region. The grape variety has a signature spice to it, as well as complex black fruits and a rich palate. This is a great food wine, and should be enjoyed with rich, hearty dishes.
