This is relatively unique as the world of wine goes - a blend of red and white wines - a wine that will have the bureaucrats scratching their heads wondering what category to put it in - we've gone with red! It's got bold black fruit on the nose, cherry, spice - but then the palate is vibrant and fresh with a good lick of acid keeping it all nice and fresh.
Gerhard and Brigitte Pittnauer, champions of biodynamic winemaking in Burgenland, have created a wine that’s as natural as it is fun. Minimal intervention lets the vineyard’s character shine through, making this blend both approachable and layered.
A perfect wine for drinking on its own, and pairs well with fatty dishes and game. we recommend serving a little chilled.
